Shoe producer Via Uno to open stores in Dubai and Amman The Brazilian shoe factory, which produces over 30,000 pairs of shoes a day, is going to inaugurate two franchises in March, one in Jordan and another in the United Arab Emirates. Via Uno already has four stores in Dubai. The opening of the new store is part of a company foreign expansion plan, which forecasts the installation of 20 stores abroad throughout the year.

Vietnamese footwear sector to kick $3.7 billion in exports
The leather and footwear industry has set a target of earning US$3.7 billion from exports this year, according to the Vietnam Federation of Leather and Footwear Associations.The federation said that it would take various measures to achieve the yearly target, including meeting a goal of producing 500 million pairs of shoes and sandals and 45 million bags

A Really Big Shoe
They are big and absurd and vaguely sinister, like boxing gloves designed by Crayola.
